However. a watch that works completely on solar energy is interesting too. In a solar powered watch the dial is either on a layer above or actually on the solar panel. This solar panel converts the light into electrical energy to power the watch. The energy gets stored in a rechargeable cell to power itself during the night or when the watch is kept covered.
5.   Solar Powered Fan
     A solar fan is a mechanical fan powered by solar panels. The solar panels are either mounted on the device or are installed independently. Solar fans mostly do not require secondary power sources other than solar power, as most of them are used for cooling purposes during day time. Some types are also used for heating purposes. It runs the fastest when it is the hottest outside providing savings on air conditioning costs.

6.   Solar Cooker 
It is a device which uses the energy of direct sunlight to heat and cook. Solar cookers being used today are relatively inexpensive, low-tech devices. Some are as powerful and expensive as the traditional ones. They have the capacity to cook food for hundreds of people. They are widely attracting the non profit organizations as these cookers do not use fuel and thus reduce air pollution.
It has minimal fuel consumption, no danger of accidental fires and most essentially eco friendly.
